Jake
Jake's passion for the real estate industry came at an early age. When Jake was only 18 years old he took the real estate licensing class and over 11 years later he is the Broker/Owner of (Jacob Heglund Realty LLC) and truly loves what he does!
Jake works hard for his clients and is very easy to work with. As a real-estate investor himself and with hundreds of brokered transactions over the last decade, Jake helps his clients successfully buy and sell real estate.
Jake founded "The Homeboys", a real estate talk show on 1340 AM WJRW, that is produced by Kevin Matthews of WLAV. Jake is the only Realtor in the industry using this creative method to help his clients and listener family. Every Saturday “The Homeboys” broadcast live from 11am to 12pm, Jake spends an hour on the radio and provides his listeners with real estate advice, direction and answers questions.
Jake is active with the GRAR (Grand Rapids Association of Realtors) currently he is on the Technology Committee and a member of the GRAR Professional Standards Committee.
Jake is a member of the Ada Business Association, Grand Rapids Chamber of Commerce, Grand Rapids Association of Realtors, Michigan Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors, and is a Graduate of the Realestate Institute (GRI)
Jake is also involved and committed to his community. He has been coaching boys lacrosse for over a decade and is the Head Varsity Coach for the Forest Hills North/Eastern Boys Lacrosse team.
Jake is very patient, believes in prompt service and honesty and treats not only his clients but fellow Realtors with the utmost integrity and respect.
Brandon
Brandon J. Faber joined Jacob Heglund Realty as a residential Realtor in October of 2009.
He is a graduate of Forest Hills Central High School and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Grand Valley State University.
As an Ada/Cascade resident for over 25 years, Brandon's knowledge and background in this area greatly assists him in successfully helping his clients buy and sell real estate.
Brandon is a current member of the Grand Rapids Association of Realtors, the Michigan Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors.
In addition, Brandon has been an active member in the Forest Hills Community as the assistant freshman baseball coach at Forest Hills Central High School, and as the Head of Umpires at Thornapple Valley Baseball League.
Justin
Justin Hood's real estate career began in May 2003 with Terra Firma Development of Grand Rapids MI in the property management department. Literally starting at the ground level, Justin soon worked his way into the office and eventual ownership of investment properties. He handled all aspects of tenant relations, property management, and supervision of contract and maintenance labor. In addition to tenant and project management, Justin helped supervise over 170,000 sq ft of renovation and new construction. He was also involved in the brokerage process and assisted in the leasing of large industrial /office space. Justin left Terra Firma in 2008 and in November 2009 joined Jacob Heglund Realty.
At Jacob Heglund Realty, Justin specializes in residential/commercial property management, residential home/land/condo sales, first time home buyers and Corporate Housing. Justin is an active listener; this enables him to fully understand his client’s needs. Continuing education and forward thinking help give Justin an elevated edge when negotiating on behalf of his clients.
Justin's hobbies include traveling with his wife Jessica, sailing, biking, skiing, hiking, snowmobiling, renovating his 1865 Victorian house and spending time with family! He has an honest, energetic, hard working work ethic and his passion is helping others succeed.

Jessica Erber joined Jacob Heglund Realty in September of 2011 as an Administrative Assistant.
She is a graduate of Forest Hills Northern High School and earned a Hospitality Business degree from Michigan State University.
Jess has great communication skills and is well organized. She enjoys assisting with the clients needs and answering any questions they might have.
